About the estate

The Domaine des Garances estate is located in the village of Suzette in the Rhône Valley, surrounded by the Dentelles de Montmirail, Mount Ventoux, and Mount Saint Amand. The hillside parcels are divided into numerous plots, requiring predominantly manual work in the vineyard. Operating under organic certification, the winery relies on hand harvesting and benefits from a cooler summer microclimate due to its altitude, along with soils based on Triassic rock. Heavy and compact soils yield structured wines such as Beaumes de Venise, whereas lighter, well-drained soils produce supple and fruity Ventoux wines.
