About the estate
The family-run Domaine des Fontaines estate is located in Thouarcé at the heart of the Coteaux du Layon and the Bonnezeaux appellation in the Loire Valley. For generations, the family has cultivated a vineyard area of approximately thirty hectares under an oceanic climate with low rainfall. Vineyard management includes controlled grass cover, while winemaking combines tradition and modernity. In 2016, the winery received the high environmental value certification from the Ministry of Agriculture. The portfolio includes red, rosé, and white wines, as well as Crémant de Loire.
