Domaine des Ardaillons

About the estate

Established in 2018, the Domaine des Ardaillons estate is located in Saint-Haon-le-Châtel within the Côte Roannaise wine region in the Volcanic Loire area. The vineyards benefit from predominantly east-facing exposures on granite soils, situated at altitudes between 380 and 520 meters. The native grape variety cultivated is Gamay Saint Romain, known for producing small clusters and dense juices. Additionally, the estate works with Viognier and Chardonnay for white wines, which are produced under the IGP Urfé denomination or as Vin de France. The specific geological and geographical factors of the terroir shape the style of the wines.
