About the estate
The Domaine de Prenant is a family-run estate located on the hills of Lignorelles overlooking the Serein Valley in Burgundy. Founded in 1982 with the initial planting at the Sur Prenant site, the winery is currently managed by Olivier Chavard. Covering a vineyard area of 17 hectares, the estate cultivates the Chardonnay grape variety for wines under the Chablis and Petit Chablis appellations. Vineyard management relies on environmentally conscious observations to achieve optimal maturity. Following mechanical harvesting, vinification takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats and bottling is carried out on the property.
