About the estate

Established in 1905, the family-run estate Domaine de la Vieille Julienne is located in Orange in the Rhône Valley. Covering twenty hectares of single-block old vines, the property features diverse soils composed of sand, clay, limestone, and quartzite. Farming is strictly biodynamic according to Demeter standards, relying on traditional manual labor in the vineyards. Harvesting is done entirely by hand, followed by natural fermentation using indigenous yeasts and maturation in traditional oak foudres. The portfolio comprises distinctive red and white wines from the Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Côtes du Rhône appellations.
