Domaine de la Monardiere

About the estate

The Domaine de la Monardiere winery is located in Vacqueyras in the southern Rhône Valley and was founded in 1987 by Martine and Christian Vache through the consolidation of family vineyards. Twenty years later, their son Damien joined the estate, which is managed today by the family along with a team of employees. Covering 22 hectares of vineyards, the estate places a strong emphasis on environmental preservation, demonstrated by its conversion to organic farming. The viticultural practices include massal selection, the maintenance of hedges and trees to support biodiversity, and the preservation of old vines. Harvesting is done by hand, and vinification is carried out without additives to produce authentic wines.
