About the estate

The Domaine de la Forêt Gasselin estate was founded in 1967 by grandfather Elie Millerioux, who commercialized his first bottles of Sancerre. Today, the family-run exploitation comprises nine hectares of vineyards spread across seven Sancerre communes. The white wines are produced from Sauvignon on clay-limestone and limestone soils, whereas the red and rosé wines are crafted from Pinot Noir on clay soils. The estate is cultivated using reasoned pest management for environmental respect, and all wines are elaborated and bottled at the property.
