About the estate

The Domaine de la Chevalerie estate dates back to 1640 and is currently managed in the thirteenth generation by the Caslot siblings in the Loire Valley. The property encompasses 33 hectares of vineyards situated on the slopes of Restigné and Benais within the Bourgueil appellation. The viticultural focus centers on Cabernet Franc, with vines averaging 30 to 70 years of age. Cultivation follows organic and biodynamic principles, with official organic certification held since 2008. The portfolio comprises various parcel-specific wines that mature in the estate's traditional cellars.
