About the estate

The family-run Domaine de la Cabernelle is managed in the third generation by siblings Claudia, Franck and Bertrand Caslot, descending from a lineage of winemakers of the Caslot and Pontonnier families. Located on the sunny slopes of Benais in the Bourgueillois region, the estate cultivates a vineyard planted entirely with Cabernet Franc. The parcels are situated within the Bourgueil and Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil appellations and are farmed organically. The wines rest and mature in a vast tuffeau limestone cellar beneath the property.
