About the estate
The Domaine de Cristia estate in Courthézon in the Rhône Valley was founded in the 1950s by Etienne Grangeon and is managed today by three generations of the family. The vineyards cover 43 hectares across the Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Côtes-du-Rhône Villages, Côtes-du-Rhône, and Vin de Pays appellations. The principal red grape variety is Grenache, accompanied by Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Cinsault, while white wines are produced from Clairette and Roussanne. Viticulture follows organic farming criteria with natural soil management and parcel selection, and vinification takes place in concrete vats and barrels. The wines are marketed domestically in France as well as internationally through export.
The eno directory lists 3 wines, mostly from Clairette and Roussanne. The estate sells to importers.
