About the estate
The organic Domaine de Chevillard estate is located in the Combe de Savoie valley at the entrance of the French Alps. Led by Matthieu Goury and Guillemette Renard, the estate covers about twelve hectares of vineyards on the steep slopes of Saint-Pierre-d'Albigny and Saint-Jean-de-la-Porte. Traditional grape varieties such as Mondeuse, Altesse, and Jacquère are cultivated to produce red and white crus. Vineyard management and winemaking follow a low-intervention approach with manual harvesting and the use of herbal preparations. The wines are aged in barrels and bottles before commercialization.
