Domaine Chantemerle

About the estate

The Domaine Chantemerle estate is located in the heart of the La Côte wine region in Tartegnin, cultivating around twenty hectares of vineyards at an altitude of approximately 450 meters. The soils of the terroir are shaped by Rhone glacier moraines consisting of gravel, clay, peat, and limestone. The grape variety portfolio includes Chasselas, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Gamay, among others. For vineyard management, the estate utilizes biological methods such as sexual confusion to combat pests, alongside hand-harvesting for the majority of the crop. Vinification takes place in a modern cellar equipped with stainless steel tanks and a barrel cellar featuring French and American oak barrels for the AOC La Côte and AOC Vaud appellations.
