Domaine Brun Avril

About the estate

The Domaine Brun Avril estate looks back on a long family tradition and is managed today by Marie Lucile Brun and her son Stéphan Brun, following in the footsteps of Juliette Avril. The winery cultivates a vineyard area of nearly 40 hectares and produces wines in the AOC Châteauneuf-du-Pape, AOC Cairanne, AOC Côtes du Rhône, and AOC Côtes du Rhône Villages appellations. The vineyards include parcels with clay-limestone soils and the characteristic pebbles typical of the region. In the cellar, vinification takes place in stainless steel and concrete vats, with a portion of the harvest aged in large wooden casks, while the estate operates under sustainable farming practices.

The eno directory lists 7 wines, mostly from Syrah and Grenache. The estate sells to retail, horeca and importers. Export markets include Switzerland, Germany, Italy and Netherlands.
