About the estate
Located in Fréterive in the Savoie region, the Domaine Bouvet estate manages 36 hectares of vineyards spread across roughly sixty plots on the southern slopes of the Massif des Bauges. Originally active as nurserymen, the Bouvet family planted the entire estate on steep limestone-clay scree slopes. The vineyards feature an average vine age of fifty years and a variety of traditional and ancient grape varieties. The portfolio includes Chignin Bergeron, Roussette Cru Monterminod, Mondeuse Cru Arbin, and Crémant de Savoie. The estate operates according to the environmental certification guidelines of Haute Valeur Environnementale.
The eno directory lists 10 wines, mostly from Mondeuse and Gamay.
