About the estate
Founded by Ivan Massonnat, the Domaine Belargus estate cultivates 24 hectares of vineyards in the heart of Anjou, entirely dedicated to Chenin Blanc. The winery follows a single-plot approach to explore the micro-terroirs of Anjou Noir, managing notable sites such as Quarts-de-Chaume, Coteau des Treilles, and Clos des Ruchères. Farmed biodynamically, the team led by winemaker Adrien Moreau produces a collection of dry white wines as well as sweet wines in exceptional years. The estate engages in collective regional initiatives to promote the excellence of its appellations within Anjou.
