About the estate
The Crocevia estate is located in Montegiorgio in the Marche region, nestled in rolling hills between the Adriatic coast and the Sibillini Mountains. Founded by Alberto Pagliuca, this small-scale operation farms just over two hectares of vineyards on mineral-rich soils consisting of limestone, sandstone, sand, silt, and alluvial pebbles. Vineyard management is largely manual, while cellar operations avoid pumps and rely on spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts. The portfolio currently features a single Marche IGT label, a red wine made from Cabernet Sauvignon and Montepulciano that undergoes an extended aging process.
