Costaripa

About the estate

The Costaripa winery was founded in 1928 by Mattia Vezzola senior in Moniga del Garda in Lombardy, operating within the production zones of the Lugana DOC and Valtènesi DOC denominations. The vineyards are situated on carefully selected hillside locations facing Lake Garda, where grape varieties such as Groppello, Marzemino, Sangiovese, and Barbera are cultivated. Harvesting is carried out exclusively by hand during the early morning hours to preserve the aromatic potential of the grapes. The estate combines traditional practices, including gravity-fed winemaking, with the use of small oak barrels, focusing particularly on the creation of distinctive rosé wines and classic method sparkling wines.
