About the estate
The Contrada Salandra estate was founded in 2005 by Giuseppe Fortunato and his wife Sandra in the heart of the Campi Flegrei on the Coste di Cuma. The winery manages 4.7 hectares of vineyards situated at an altitude of approximately 200 meters above sea level. Production focuses on the native grape varieties Falanghina and Piedirosso, which are grown as ungrafted vines surviving from the pre-phylloxera era. The operational approach relies on integrated agriculture with a strong respect for nature and the natural rhythms of the vines. The estate emphasizes meticulous care in the vineyard and a thoughtful vinification process.
The eno directory lists 2 wines, mostly from Piedirosso and Falanghina.
