About the estate
The Cognac Paul Giraud estate has been family-run since 1635 and is currently managed across eleven generations with a vineyard area of 50 hectares. The winery is located in Bouteville in the heart of Grande Champagne, the premier cru of cognac. The vineyard soils consist of clay-limestone formations from the Cretaceous period. The production methods include hand harvesting, distillation with a cut, and prolonged aging in humid cellars. These conditions yield distinctive cognacs defined by fine, elegant, and delicate aromatic notes.
