About the estate
The Clos de la Donzelle estate is located in the municipality of Dardagny west of Geneva and covers a vineyard area of ten hectares. The property was established towards the end of the 19th century by Alphonse Mermier and continued through subsequent generations of his family. In 1998, Bernard Vuagnat took over the management of the estate and diversified both the grape varieties and the vinification methods. Crafted using traditional methods combined with scientific knowledge, the wines are characterised by their distinctive profile, aging potential and extended barrel maturation.
