About the estate

The Ciacci Piccolomini d’Aragona estate has its origins in the 17th century and preserves its historical heritage in the Palazzo del Vescovo in Montalcino in Tuscany. Following various changes in ownership, the property passed to the Ciacci family and through marriage to the counts Piccolomini d’Aragona, before being left to Giuseppe Bianchini in 1985, whose children continue to run the estate today. The vineyards featuring galestro soils of Eocene origin are planted with Sangiovese grosso and are situated in the heart of the Val d’Orcia. The production includes Brunello di Montalcino and Rosso di Montalcino, with products exported worldwide.
