About the estate
The Chiusa Grossa estate is located in the southern part of Montalcino, managing vineyards in the areas of Sant’Angelo in Colle and Castelnuovo dell’Abate. The history of the winery dates back about thirty years when Bruno Biscotto discovered his passion for winemaking, while commercial distribution officially began in 2017. The vineyards are exclusively planted with Sangiovese on sandy and clayey soils at an altitude of approximately 400 meters. The estate applies traditional methods, including manual harvesting and environmentally conscious practices, in its on-site cellar. The portfolio includes Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, Rosso di Montalcino DOC, and Toscana IGT.
