About the estate
The Swiss family-run winery Chiericati Vini SA, located in Bellinzona in Ticino, was founded in 1950 by Bruno Chiericati and his daughter Carolina. In 1963, Angelo Cavalli joined the company and initiated the vinification of Merlot in 1987, which has since become the flagship wine of the estate. The production falls under the Ticino DOC denomination. Over the years, the portfolio has been expanded to include innovative grape varieties as well as the rediscovery of indigenous varieties such as Bondola. Today, the estate is managed in the fourth generation, combining traditional winemaking with modern cellar technology.
