The Chateau Prieure Borde Rouge estate is located in the heart of the Corbières in Lagrasse within the Languedoc-Roussillon region and was taken over by the Carrere family in 2005. Spanning 15 hectares of vineyards, the property sits on a unique terroir composed of black schist, limestone, and clay soils with a southern exposure. The portfolio features traditional grape varieties such as Syrah, Grenache, Carignan, white Grenache, Maccabeu, Clairette, Roussanne, Rolle, and Merlot. Production is conducted entirely under organic farming methods without the use of synthetic pesticides or chemical fertilizers. The estate's wines are classified under the AOC Corbières and IGP Pays d'Oc denominations.
