About the estate
The Château Peybonhomme estate has been managed by the Hubert family across six generations since 1895. Located on a hill in the municipality of Cars within the Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux appellation, it overlooks the Gironde estuary. The clay-limestone soils, shaped by an oceanic climate and the river's light reflection, provide optimal conditions for grape varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc, and Colombard. From the historic tower, the vineyards extend across the slopes of the property.
