About the estate

The Chateau les Hauts d'Aglan estate builds upon a long family history and was established in its current form in 1957. It is located in Soturac in southwest France, on the highest terraces of the AOC Cahors and Côtes du Lot IGP appellations. The vineyards cover an area of 14 hectares on shallow clay-limestone soils featuring rare ironstone deposits. The planted grape varieties are Malbec and Merlot, which are used to craft structured wines of distinct character. The estate is dedicated to producing wines intended to accompany shared meals and memorable occasions.
