About the estate

The CHATEAU LAMARTINE – SCEA estate is located in southwest France and looks back on a history that began in 1883 with the construction of the house by the ancestors of the Gayraud family. Today, the fourth generation, Lise and Benjamin, manages 38 hectares of vineyards situated on the oldest terraces of the Lot valley with clay and limestone soils. The vineyards benefit from a southern exposure, which provides optimal conditions for the maturation of Malbec. The family places great emphasis on vineyard management and winemaking to produce wines that reflect the character of the terroir.
