About the estate
The Chateau la Clotte-Fontane estate looks back on a long history dating back to the 15th century and was re-established in 1993 by the Pagès family. The vineyards cover 36 hectares divided into eight distinct plots, planted with Syrah, Grenache, and Chardonnay. The vines grow on two different soil types featuring steep slopes with rolled pebbles as well as a clay-limestone plateau. Cultivated within the AOC Coteaux du Languedoc denomination, the wines are traditionally produced entirely on the property.
The eno directory lists 3 wines, mostly from Syrah and Grenache.
