Terre des Dames

About the estate

The Terre des Dames estate has been managed since 2002 by winemaker Lidewij van Wilgen, who originally comes from the Netherlands and whose daughters are also involved in the business. The vineyard structure mirrors that of two hundred years ago, featuring small parcels on various levels surrounded by old murets and wild garrigue, including vines up to one hundred years old. Certified organic since 2009, the winery applies no pesticides or synthetic fertilizers, maintains natural ground cover, and farms unirrigated vines with low yields. All grapes are harvested and sorted by hand, followed by a gentle and natural vinification process. The resulting wines are concentrated, pure, and fresh, and they are distributed both internationally through export and domestically in France via wine merchants and restaurants.

The estate sells to importers, horeca and retail.
