About the estate

The Château Haut-Brion estate is located in the commune of Pessac within the Pessac-Léognan appellation in the north of the Graves de Bordeaux wine region. The vineyard spans 51 hectares, with 48 hectares planted to red grape varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, and nearly three hectares dedicated to white varieties including Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc, and Sauvignon Gris. The history of the property dates back to the first century AD, and in 1521 it became the first Bordeaux cru to be named after its terroir. The estate places great emphasis on environmental protection, preserving biodiversity, and careful soil management. Winemaking practices combine traditional values with an innovative vision.

The eno directory lists one wine.
