About the estate

The family-owned Château Lafargue estate is located in the heart of the Pessac-Léognan appellation across the communes of Martillac and Saint-Médard-d’Eyrans in the Gironde region. The vineyard soils consist of alluvial pebbles, stones, and gravel, which ensure good drainage and support the harmonious ripening of the grapes. The red wines are produced from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, while the white wines are made using Sauvignon Blanc and Sauvignon Gris. The winery follows a sustainable and ethical approach to viticulture and has held the HVE level 3 certification since 2015. All wines are crafted directly in the property's own cellars.
