Château Carbonnieux

About the estate

Château Carbonnieux looks back on a centuries-old history within the Pessac-Léognan appellation and is among the oldest and most extensive estates in the Bordeaux region. The traditional family-run property has been managed by the Perrin family for four generations and encompasses a contiguous vineyard of around one hundred hectares situated on a prominent gravel ridge. The soils and plots have been mapped using precise methods in order to adapt the grape varieties optimally to the geological conditions. The vineyard is planted in equal parts with red and white grape varieties, which are cultivated according to sustainable principles. These yield characteristic red wines as well as dry white wines.
