About the estate
The Château Brown estate is situated in the heart of the Bordeaux appellation of Pessac-Léognan on the historic terroir of the northern Graves and is managed by Jean-Christophe Mau. The property spans a total area of 60 hectares, with 31 hectares dedicated to vineyards. The red grape varieties are predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, whereas the white wines are produced from Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon. The winery follows certified sustainable practices, emphasising careful vineyard management and manual harvesting. The grapes undergo optical sorting in the cellar to ensure the production of precise and consistent wines.
The estate sells to importers, retail and horeca.
