About the estate

The Chateau Fontareche estate is one of the oldest wine properties in Languedoc, situated in the heart of the region between Narbonne and Carcassonne. In 1682, the property became the possession of Pierre Mignard and is currently owned by the de Lamy family across nine generations. The vineyards cover more than 130 hectares, evenly distributed across the Corbières appellation and the Pays d’Oc territory. Approximately 17 different grape varieties thrive on the estate, including traditional Languedoc varieties alongside international ones. The vinification takes place in the estate's own cellar, resulting in a rich range of characterful wines.

The eno directory lists 15 wines, mostly from Piquepoul Noir and Syrah.
