Château du Payre is a traditional family estate located in Cardan near Bordeaux, which has been passed down from mother to daughter across generations since 1881. The vineyards cover 25 hectares featuring clay and gravel soils within the regional Bordeaux appellations. Sustainable cultivation practices certified by Terra Vitis are applied to manage red grape varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Malbec, alongside white varieties including Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc, Sauvignon Gris, and Muscadelle. In addition to winemaking, the estate has established itself through a diverse wine tourism offering featuring guest rooms.
