Chateau des Moucheres

About the estate

The Chateau des Moucheres estate is located in Languedoc in Saint Mathieu de Treviers and has a long family history. As early as the late 17th century, an ancestor cultivated plots at the current location, which was originally characterized by agricultural, pastoral, and forestry activities. Starting in the 1960s, the family increasingly focused on viticulture. In 2001, Jean-Philippe Teissèdre took over the estate, established an estate-bottled wine range, and set up a tasting room. The vineyards are situated in a Mediterranean landscape at the foot of the Pic Saint Loup and the limestone cliffs of Hortus.
