About the estate
The Château Bois-Vert estate is managed by Marie-Claude and Patrick Penaud in Saint-Caprais-de-Blaye in the northern Blayais area, representing five generations of family history. Since taking over, the owners have restructured the vineyards and invested significantly in modern cellar technology and temperature control systems. Today, the family cultivates more than 28 hectares of vines. The vineyards feature typical regional grape varieties, including Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon for reds and rosés, alongside Sauvignon Blanc, Sauvignon Gris, and Muscadelle for whites. Alongside traditional trade channels, the winery engages in direct sales to visitors and wine enthusiasts.
