About the estate

The Champagne Michel Falmet winery is situated in the heart of the Côte des Bar in Rouvres-les-Vignes in the south of Champagne and builds upon a long family tradition. In 1970, Michel and Colette took over the family estate, which was subsequently joined by their daughter Corinne and her husband Laurent in 2004. The vineyards are rooted in clay-limestone soils typical of the region and cultivate the traditional grape varieties Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Meunier. For vinification, the estate utilizes gentle pressing along with maturation in demi-muids and temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, and holds HVE as well as VDC certifications.
