About the estate
The Champagne house Champagne Chassenay d’Arce was founded in 1956 by five pioneers in Ville-sur-Arce and embodies a cooperative model based on collective commitment. Today, this work is continued by 130 families and four generations of winegrowers who are dedicated to sustainable and reasoned cultivation. Located in the heart of the Côte des Bar, the vineyard covers 315 hectares across fourteen villages along the Arce river on Kimmeridgian soils. Pinot Noir dominates as the primary grape variety, while Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, and Pinot Blanc add varied aromatic profiles. These grapes are crafted into precise, expressive, and balanced champagnes under the AOC Champagne denomination.
