About the estate
The family-run Champagne Hotte-Schmit estate manages six hectares of vineyards in Brimont within the Massif de Saint-Thierry. The history of the winery began when Henri Hotte replanted the first vines in the village, and Jean-Paul and Martine later established the estate in the late seventies. Today, the next generation consisting of Laetitia, Blanche-Marie, and François-Xavier continues the family legacy by vinifying the champagnes directly at the estate. Their production is guided by core values rooted in respect for the terroir, curiosity, and a dedication to winemaking.
