The Champagne François Heucq et fils estate has been managed as a family business for four generations in Fleury-la-Rivière in the Champagne region. Robert Heucq and later François Heucq shaped the development of the winery, before Guillaume Heucq joined the next generation with new approaches such as sustainable viticulture and barrel aging. The vineyard area is planted with the classic grape varieties Meunier, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir, with Meunier accounting for the majority. The limestone soils rich in marine fossils impart mineral notes to the wines. The entire process from manual harvesting to traditional vinification and manual disgorging is controlled in-house.
