Champagne de Barfontarc

About the estate

The Champagne de Barfontarc estate is located in the heart of the Côte des Bar in the Aube region and brings together 54 winegrower families who farm approximately 130 hectares of vineyards across eight villages around Baroville. The marly and clay-limestone terroir is well suited for Pinot Noir, which, along with Chardonnay, forms the primary grape variety spectrum of the house. The cooperative relies on sustainable working methods with certifications such as Haute Valeur Environnementale and Viticulture Durable en Champagne. In the modern cellars, a team led by the cellar master processes the grapes into various Champagne cuvées with extended aging periods.
