The Champagne house Champagne Claude Beaufort was founded in 1908 and is managed today in the fourth generation by Arnaud, who produces his wines under the name of his father. The estate is located in Ambonnay in the Montagne de Reims in Champagne, where the vineyards are predominantly planted with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The local soils are characterized by limestone close to the surface, covered with a thin layer of clay and limestone. For vineyard management, the winery relies on sustainable cultivation with a focus on biodiversity, soil work, and grassing between the plots. The goal is to achieve a balanced taste in the cuvées between the structure of Pinot Noir and the freshness of Chardonnay.
