About the estate
The Champagne Christophe Mignon estate is a traditional winery located in Festigny in the Champagne region, drawing on methods rooted in over a century of tradition. Covering six hectares of vineyards spread across about twenty parcels in Festigny and Le Breuil, the estate cultivates its land using alternative methods. The winery does not hold official organic or biodynamic certifications, but instead developed the Arterra label alongside regular controls by a private certification body. This nature-focused approach includes manual vineyard work, non-compacting soil tillage, the use of collected rainwater for treatments, and adherence to the lunar calendar. During vinification, the fully ripened grapes are harvested by hand and gently pressed to reflect the complex mosaic of the terroir in the final wines.
