About the estate

The Champagne Daniel Caillez estate cultivates 6.3 hectares of vineyards in the Champagne region, spread across 45 parcels around Damery and neighboring villages. The historic family building in Damery, constructed in 1825, was expanded over time and now houses the cellars for winemaking. Since 2020, the winery has operated entirely according to organic farming methods and received official Ecocert certification in 2023. Insecticides have not been used since the 1990s, and herbicide reduction began in 2014. In the cellar, the estate ferments the juices directly in barrels, while avoiding both filtration and malolactic fermentation.
