About the estate

The Champagne house Champagne Caillez Lemaire traces its origins back to the family building constructed in 1825 in Damery in the Marne Valley. The estate farms a vineyard area of 6.3 hectares spread across 45 plots in five villages, including the Premier Cru sites of Hautvillers and Cumières. The winery operates 100 percent organically and has been certified by Ecocert since 2023, having discontinued the use of insecticides since the 1990s. The wines are produced through direct fermentation in wooden barrels, without filtration and without malolactic fermentation, resulting in complex and precise cuvées.
