About the estate
Champagne Bollinger is one of the last family-run houses in Champagne and looks back on a long tradition. Founded in 1829, the estate cultivates 180 hectares of vineyards, eighty-five percent of which consist of Grands Crus and Premiers Crus. The cultivation focuses primarily on the Pinot Noir grape variety, which significantly shapes the character and style of the wines. For the maturation process, the traditional estate utilizes its own wooden barrels as well as an extensive reserve wine collection stored in magnums. The wines undergo an above-average aging period on the lees in the cellars to achieve the desired complexity.
