About the estate
The Champagne Barrat-Masson estate was founded in 2010 as a joint project by oenologist Aurélie and winemaker Loïc. The vineyards cover seven hectares stretching from Villenauxe-la-Grande to Bethon, planted with 90 percent Chardonnay and 10 percent Pinot Noir. Farming is conducted organically from the outset to respect the soil and allow the wines to express their full personality. Vinification takes place in stainless steel vats, oak barrels, and demi-muids, followed by extended aging on the fine lees. The portfolio features natural champagnes that are disgorged by hand without the addition of dosage liqueur.
