About the estate
Located in Ross-on-Wye in Herefordshire, the Castle Brook Vineyard estate is situated on the site of an ancient Roman vineyard and is managed by the Chinn family. The vineyards lie on a steep south-facing slope in the Wye Valley and are planted with the traditional Champagne grape varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier. The winery specializes in producing English sparkling wine using the traditional method and collaborates with Ridgeview Estate during production. Harvesting is done by hand as whole bunches, followed by full malolactic fermentation and several years of secondary bottle fermentation.
