Frome Valley Vineyard

About the estate

The Frome Valley Vineyard estate is located in Bishops Frome, Herefordshire, and was taken over in 2005 by new owners after the vineyard had been established some fifteen years prior. The vineyards are situated in a sheltered curve of the River Frome on clay loam soils. The family-run estate produces still and sparkling wines, including Bacchus, Pinot Noir, and traditional method fizz. The agricultural approach focuses on sustainability with manual pruning and harvesting, alongside the use of sheep for vineyard maintenance and natural fertilization. Furthermore, the property utilizes renewable energy sources such as biomass heating and solar power.
